New York Knicks vs. Milwaukee Bucks
This season’s SYSO Basketball Outing to the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, will be on Sunday, January 4th, 2015 when the New York Knicks take on the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30PM.
Similar to last year we are able to secure up to 3 suites, which will fit up to 126 people. Each suite includes seating for every person as well as 700 square feet for each suite that has chairs, couches, and large flat screen TV’s. The Knicks Pre-Game Radio Broadcast is done from the suite and last year the kids got to watch up close as Al Trautwig completed his pre-game. Food and soft drinks are included.
Last year we sold out two suites and there was demand for more tickets that we could not supply. The feedback that I received from last year’s event was very positive so I expect the turnout to be stronger this year.
Cost per ticket is $110 and includes food and drinks.

Dear Parents, Coaches and SYSO Basketball Players, we hope you all had an enjoyable summer. Welcome to SYSO Boys Basketball for the 2014-2015 season. We are extremely excited about the upcoming year. Our program continues to grow and develop year over year, last year we had a tremendous turnout, and we are expecting an even larger number of registrations this season.
The SYSO Boys Basketball Program’s philosophy for the upcoming season continues to be to provide a fun, worthwhile basketball experience for our children. Specifically, we encourage our young players to develop an appreciation and understanding for the game of basketball in a fun and competitive learning environment.
Our core belief is to stress the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork. We expect all of our players, coaches, parents and officials to conduct themselves properly at all times in a respectful manner. SYSO Boys Basketball places an emphasis on teaching our young players to gain a healthy respect for opponents, coaches and officials. Behavior outside the beliefs of SYSO Boys Basketball will not be tolerated. Simply stated, we as parents must set a good example for our children.
Please understand that especially in Grades 4 and above requests for specific team placement cannot be honored.
Lastly, our program will only be as good as the parent volunteers that make up our coaching and administrative staffs. We are all parents in the community and lead hectic lives. The amount of time and energy needed to provide a positive basketball experience for our young people in our community is enormous and must be shared by all. SYSO policy states that if there is an insufficient number of volunteer coaches and administrators for a particular league, that league will not play for the current season. Please don’t sit back. Volunteer your time and energy and become a part of your child's basketball experience.
Thanks for your commitment to our young people. We are looking forward to another great season.
